Salt House is located in an old printing press established in the 1890s. The building’s beautifully exposed brick, high ceilings, raw fixtures and warm lighting create a unique ambience for diners. More of an excavation project than anything else, we deleted several planned design elements and instead let the stunning space speak for itself after the demo was done. A second floor 168-foot open-air loft was added to the mezzanine to enclose the entrance and provide additional seating.
