The Show at MOCA with August Bradley’s Photography alongside the new Louver Collection by Louis Verdad and the “fashion cinema” video installation by Robertino Fonseca was a fun evening with a lot of people and a lot of energy. High profile guests included Marisa Tomei, Rose McGowan, Nicky Hilton, Nicole Richie, and Lisa Rinna. We also enjoyed meeting a wide variety of media and industry people.
There are discussions of this exhibit traveling to other cities after a few museums, galleries, and fashion industry producers saw the presentation DLAFW put on at MOCA.

Photographer August Bradley, Fashion Designer Louis Verdad, and Film Director Robertino Fonseca reveal an inspired artistic fashion vision during the Downtown LA Fashion Week event at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA
A collection of images by August Bradley depicting dramatic conceptual interpretations of the “Louver Collection” by Louis Verdad and “Vintage Verdad” designs will be on display during the Downtown LA Fashion Week event at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA. This will be the first-ever presentation of large-format prints from August Bradley and Louis Verdad’s work for the “Hasselblad Masters Book”, plus new images never before seen. A video installation by the acclaimed “Fashion Cinema” film director Robertino Fonseca will reveal an imaginative narrative behind the creation of the images, along with the broader story and inspiration behind Louis Verdad’s work.
The evening will also feature a spectacular vintage runway show by Cameron Silver, owner of the legendary ”modern vintage” store Decades, and a rockin’ after party until midnight.
