The International Photography Awards (IPA) has announced the winners of this year’s IPA “Photographer of the Year Awards”.

August Bradley’s work received the 2nd and 3rd place awards for the professional Beauty Advertising category. [View]

August’s work also received 12 Honorable Mentions across the professional Fashion, Portrait, Catalog, and Beauty categories. [View]

With nearly 20,000 entries from over 90 countries, IPA is the world’s largest photo competition. The winning pieces will be published in the 2007 Lucie Awards coffee table book [book link]. The Best of Show Exhibit will travel worldwide after its debut in New York.

The winning beauty images were created by an exceptional team – Hair Stylists: Marc Mapile (for Sexy Hair) & Norma Blaque, Makeup Artist: Kelsey Deenhan, Makeup Assistant: Janeena Merricks, Model: Teresa at Vision Models L.A.

At the request of the Management Committee, August is contributing images to Cool Green Fashion for Forests and it’s efforts to raise money for and awareness of environmental conservation. The organization will be producing an annual fund-raiser fashion show, as well as creating a number of media projects to celebrate and  encourage eco-friendly business practices in the industry.
